The Northern Territory Police Association welcomes the announcement from the ICAC Commissioner to investigate the process leading to the charging of Constable Zachary Rolfe.
Mr Riches has advised the investigation will focus on the period between the shooting incident at Yuendumu on 9 November 2019, and the arrest and charging of Constable Rolfe some 4 days later.
It’s important the Northern Territory community has confidence in the process in question and we look forward to the ICAC investigation taking place.
